Visitation:
The goal of this program is to reach out to
new people in the community and to the unsaved. The committee
travels together to homes to share the word of God. The visitation
committee meets the second Monday of each month.
Van Ministry: A van is provided for people who need transportation to church. The
van runs on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights as
needed. Please contact
the church to request van services.
Bible School: Bible School is a big part
of our outreach to the young people in our community. There are classes
for all children, from nursery through high school. Bible School consists
of bible study classes, games, crafts, music, and food. The children
are shown God's love through the actions of the church.
Newsletter: A newsletter
is distributed among the church members and mailed to anyone who
requests a copy. The newsletter includes information about financial
matters, upcoming events, prayer requests, birthdays, and articles
submitted by various people. If you would like to receive a copy of
the newsletter, contact Jeannie
Pence.
Operation Christmas Child:
Each Christmas Camp Ground participates in Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas Child sends a message of hope to children in desperate
situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and Christian
literature. This program provides an opportunity for individuals of all
ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project that reaches
out to suffering children while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus
Christ, God's greatest gift. In 2002, Operation Christmas Child collected
over 6 million shoe boxes worldwide and distributed them to children in
about 95 countries. For more on Operation Christmas Child visit their
website.
